Tehran to host Int'l Tour Operators confab
Tehran is to host the International Tour Operators Conference from November 24-27, an official has announced.
Majid Esfandiar, Deputy director of the office for tourism, marketing and advertisement affiliated to the Iran Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization (ICHHTO) said that some 150 tour operators from 50 countries will participate in the event.
Esfandiar underlined that so far several tour and travel agencies from different countries have voiced their willingness to participate in the event.
"We have planned sightseeing and tourist attractions of Kish Island, Fars and Isfahan provinces during the event," he said.
The confab is organized by the Iranian Tour Operators Society and ICHHTO./end
