MULTIPOLAR CHALKS UP TWO-FOLD NET PROFIT
Jakarta, Nov 3 (ANTARA) - PT Multipolar (MLPL) successfully booked a two-fold net profit in the third quarter of 2008, which increased 252 percent to Rp30.6 billion from Rp8.7 billion in the same period a year earlier, the company said in a press statement on Monday.
The Indonesian biggest TI solution service provider company said that up to September 2008 it reaped a sale of Rp9.5 trillion, or an increase by 32 percent from the previous Rp7.2 trillion.
MLPL President Director Jeffrey K Wonsono said that the company's gross profit increased 33.5 percent to Rp2.5 trillion from the previous Rp1.9 trillion. The increase in the profit was fueled by increase efficiency in operational costs which drove up gross margin from 25.8 percent to 26.2 percent.
He said that the company was able to increase its financial performance amid the on-going global financial crisis and the current non conducive economic conditions.
