Ethiopian Prime Minister Praises Policies Of HH The Emir In Establishing Peace

Doha , April 15 (QNA) - Ethiopia's Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn said Monday that the policies of the State of Qatar under the leadership of HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani strives for peaceful coexistence all around the globe. Speaking to Qatar TV, The Ethiopian Prime Minister noted that Qatar and Ethiopia were working together to establish peace in Somalia Sudan and the South Sudan, in their role as chairs of the Arab Summit and the African Union respectively. He added that Ethiopia realized that development was not possible in the African continent without peace and stability. That was why they were cooperating with efforts to establish peace in the region, Desalegn added. He noted that the cooperation manifests in the Arab-African Summit that is held each year, it will be held again towards the end of 2013. He described Arab-African relations as strong and called on cooperation to achieve economic integration and maintaining peace worldwide. On the agreements signed between the State of Qatar and Ethiopia during the visit of HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani to Adis Ababa recently, the Ethiopian Premier described the agreements as a landmark in bilateral relations, which were based on mutual respect he added. He also said that the key in those agreements were that they achieve mutual benefit. (QNA)
