Mohammed bin Zayed receives Shell, ConocoPhillips executives
Abu Dhabi, Nov 3, 2008 (WAM) - General H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces received separately yesterday evening Malcolm Brinded, Chief Executive Officer of Shell, and James J. Mulva, Chairman '&' Chief Executive Officer of ConocoPhillips.
Sheikh Mohammed discussed with the two executives ways to enhance cooperation between Abu Dhabi and their respective companies in the oil '&' gas and petrochemicals fields, embarking on the two companies' track records of innovative exploration and production technologies, as well as environment-friendly techniques.
The meetings also discussed the importance of Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition '&' Conference (ADIPEC 2008) which will open tomorrow with over 1,500 companies exhibiting new products, services and technologies.
The meetings were attended by H.E. Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of Executive Affairs Authority, and Mohammed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Under Secretary of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court.
