NATIONAL PRODUCERS WILL GET SUPPORT

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The cabinet at its meeting April 13 issued a resolution on a financial credit support to national producers. The advance loans for four and a half year and equal to one third of the resources to run technical and equipment renovation will be given to milk and dairy products producers--up to 27,7 million US dollars, to construction of winter greenhouses--up to 17,4 million dollars, to a production of wool stuff--up to 45 million, and to a textile sector--up to 13,5 million dollars. Apart of this, a “Mongolian woolen material” project has been worked out on deeply processing here a washed wool and producing export-targeted two and a half million in length pure and semi wool materials. For the time being, our textile sector imports 50 billion togrog worth materials a year. If to begin producing fabrics in the wool processing sector, it will be possible to produce final woolen stuff, to increase the sector's production from 50 billion to 150 billion, to elevate the export up to 50 billion, and all this will create 500 small- and middle-sized enterprises. Three existing enterprises will be installed new equipment. The cabinet also decided that a “Production of textile to replace import” project will be realized. It means that some 30 enterprises will be created in the capital city and in aimags, some 50 small enterprises will work as assistant executors, and such an expansion will create more than 30 thous. working places and let export 549,3 billion togrog worth ready sewn stuff and provide more the domestic market with various uniforms and ready clothes. Four big milk enterprises will be erected with more than 20 tons capacity each to fully process milk at international standards, besides, 15 small enterprises and 86 smaller entities will produce the milk and dairy products. The winter greenhouses will be erected on 20 hectares in Ulaanbaatar, on 1.5 hectares in Darkhan city, on one hectare in Erdenet city, and in each of aimags on half a hectare.
