MILY FINDS LOCALLY ASSEMBLED GUN IN SOUTH ACEH
Tapaktuan, S Aceh, Nov 2 (ANTARA) - The Indonesian military (TNI) found a locally-assembled gun of GLM type and four rounds of active ammunition in the mountain range near Lubuk Layu village in South Aceh district on Sunday.
"TNI troops found the gun of GLM type and four rounds of active ammunition while completing the construction of the Panton Luas -Lubuk Layu road," chief of the South Aceh military district Lt Col Arh Erwin Septiansyah said here on Sunday.
The gun believed to be left behind by Free Aceh Movement (GAM) members during the bloody conflict was found two kilometers from Panton Luas village, Tapaktuan subdistrict, South Aceh district.
The security personnel also found a residence identification card (KTP), hat, cable, stove, and other cooking utensils.
