PM FOUND SAFE AND SOUND AFTER GETTING LOST IN MOUNTAIN

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Prime Minister N.Altankhuyag has been found safe and sound after a day lost in the Burkhan Khaldun mountain. Together with the cabinet secretariat head Ch.Saikhanbileg and other 70 people the Premier got lost in snow storm when was going down after climbing this mountain on Sunday evening. The climb had started that day's morning. At the country President Ts.Elbegdorj's initiative a search had been launched by National Emergency Management agency (NEMA). Two groups had been found and a location of the PM had been established. By Monday morning, a helicopter began transporting the people by groups. By one pm, the NEMA reported that all the people had been found safe and sound and collected at their camp, a first group had been already taken to the city. The Burkhan Khaldun is a mountain of the Khentii Mountains in the Khentii province. it is said to be the birthplace of Chingis Khann and a location of his tomb. The mountain is in the 12,000 km² Khan Khentii Strictly Protected Area established in 1992. Ch.Enkhtuya
