Iranian carpet is the best in the world: Solomon Islands FM

Tehran, Nov 2, IRNA Solomon Islands foreign minister and his accompanying delegation
visited Saadabad historical, cultural complex here Saturday.

William Humoumi after making a knot on the "World Peace and Friendship
Carpet" said, "The best carpets in the world are woven by Iranian
artists and nobody can recognize whether they are carpets or pieces of
painting."
The "World Peace and Friendship Carpet" has been placed in Saadabad
complex, so that ambassadors or other political figures, either
foreign or domestic, by making a symbolic knot on the carpet show
their respect for and interest in the issue.
