Mitsubishi Qatar Reiterates its Annual Support to Shafallah Center

Doha, April 06 (QNA) -As part of its annual support to Al Shafallah Center for children with special needs , Mitsubishi Qatar Compnay has provided USD 180,000 to Al Shafallah Center for the year 2013. Mitsubishi has committed to providing financial support to the center, amounting USD 1.8 Million since 2008 ,to be paid over ten years by 180,000 dollars a year. Director of Al shafallah centre Samira Al Qassimi expressed her belief that this cooperation between Shafallah centre and Mitsubishi will help and contributes to completing many of the achievements, including the associated technology in the centre and the full renovation of the sports hall of the centre. Highly praising cooperation between Qatar and Japan, Al Qassimi explained in a statement she gave at a ceremony held on the occasion Saturday that the previous trenches received from Mitsubishi were spent on several programmes conducted by the centre. For his part, the Japanese ambassador in Doha Kingero Monge who attended the ceremony expressed his appreciation for the wise leadership of Qatar that pays special attention to the education sector as well as children with special needs. Other representatives from Mitsubishi Qatar Compnay and Al Shafallah Center for children with special needs together with the representative of the Japanese embassy in Doha also attended the ceremony.(QNA)
