Saudi popular campaign sends urgent aid

Islamabad, November 01, SPA-- Saudi Popular Campaign for Assistance
of Victims of Pakistan's earthquake started today to send urgent aid
to the affected areas of Baluchistan to alleviate the suffering of
the affected people.
The Regional Director of the campaign Dr. Khalid Mohammed
Al-Othmani pointed out that the campaign sent aid to areas in
Baluchistan estimated at $ 280,000 including 1,000 tents, 1,000
blankets and 1,000 quilts.
He noted that the quick dispatch of aid comes in implementation
of the directives of Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Minister of
Interior and General Supervisor of the Campaign and follow-up by Dr.
Saed Al-Orabi Al-Harthy, Advisor to the Minister of Interior and the
Campaign's Chief.
