Yemen, IMF discuss cooperation aspects

SANA'A, Nov. 01 (Saba) - Premier Ali Mujawar discussed on Saturday
with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) delegation means of
availing from the IMF's technical assistance to the country in
fields of administrative, financial and economic reforms.

The Premier praised the cooperation between Yemen and IMF,
indicating to a set of procedures and policies made by the
government in running public funds and varying national income
resources either by developing promising sectors or improving tax
system.

For his part, chairman of IMF's delegation acquainted the Premier on
results of his annual consultations with the bodies concerned in
running public funds and monetary policies.

IMF official accentuated the Fund's keenness on advancing its
relations with Yemen and offering any requested technical support
from Yemen to face the economic and monetary challenges.
