Al-Arhabi meets European commission delegation

SANA'A, Nov. 01 (Saba) - Minister of Planning and International
Cooperation Abdul-Karim al-Arhabi met on Saturday with chairman of
delegation of the European Commission in Sana'a, German ambassador
,US ambassador and acting British ambassador to Sana'a respectively.

The meetings dealt with processes of relief presented to victims
affected by floods and heavy rains in the eastern governorates of
Hadrmout and Mahrah, the volume of catastrophe as well as urgent
humanitarian needs.

Al-Arhabi affirmed the urgent need for providing mobile hospitals to
face diseases resulting from damaged areas as well as providing
equipment to clean and purify drinking water and enhance electrical
equipment.

For his part, EC's official showed his readiness to provide further
direct and indirect humanitarian assistance through UN and world and
local organizations.
