Prince Khalid bin Sultan inaugurates Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz

Riyadh, November 01 , SPA -- Prince Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz,
Assistant Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General for
Military Affairs, inaugurated today Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz
International Water Prize Chair at the headquarters of King Saud
University.

A speech ceremony was held on the occasion.

The supervisor of the chair Dr. Abdulmalik Al Alsheikh hailed the
chair's financing by Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Deputy
Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, and
said the chair's activities will include research on storing rain and
flood water.

Prince Khalid highlighted the support provided by the Saudi leaders
for scientific research and underlined the importance of water
preservation.
