MONGOLIAN PM WELCOMES MR ABE

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Prime Minister of Mongolia Mr N.Altankhuyag officially welcomed Mr Shinzo Abe, the Premier of Japan, on the Sukhbaatar square in Ulaanbaatar on March 30.
This was a start of Mr Abe's official visit paid by invitation of Mongolia's Premier.
Mr Abe paid respect to the monument of Great Chingis Khan and put his signature in the Book of Honored Guests. After this the two dignitaries held a “tet-a-tet” meeting, then, they ran official negotiations.
Mr Altankhuyag expressed a gratitude to Mr Abe for the visit, which is an expression of Japan's attaching a high importance to the relationship with Mongolia, and underlined that it will strengthen the friendly and trusted ties between the two countries, deepen the mutual understanding, and contribute to making the content of the 2010's joint declaration on the strategic partnership more business-like.
In a course of the visit “the two sides can focus on directions of the cooperation of the nearest years”, Mr Altankhuyag hoped.
In response, Mr Abe expressed a confidence that the two Premiers together will begin a new era in the relations between Mongolia and Japan.
He especially underlined that he is interested in deepening the ties based on three concepts--the democracy, peace, mutual help.
