SPEAKER MEETS JAPAN'S PM

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Chaiman of the State Great Khural (parliament) of Mongolia Mr Z.Enkhbold received Japan's Prime-Minister Shinzo Abe on March 31. Mr Abe said he is proud of a way Mongolia has been strengthening the democracy. Having noted that any investment must be mutually beneficial, he said the Japanese want to cooperate with Mongolians in the mineral resources sphere and to make investments. The friendship groups at the Japanese parliament have played a special role in expanding and boosting the relationship between the legislative bodies of the two countries, he said. In response, the Speaker noted that the ties and cooperation between two parliaments have been promoted more than those between the two governments, and informed Mr Abe that the government had submitted a related draft law to parliament in order to attract foreign investors and to increase investments.
