Jumah to head Saudi Aramco delegation at NOC Forum in Beijing 2

The Beijing forum will be hosted by three Chinese national oil
companies: Sinopec, the China National Petroleum Corp. and the China
National Offshore Oil Corp.

The gathering will also hear about the recent activities of the
three technical working groups that were formed at the Third NOC
Forum in Brazil in 2005: the Environment, Technical and Natural Gas
groups. Saudi Aramco has seats in all three of those working groups.
A Best Practices Working Group also was added after the Fourth NOC
Forum.

The forum agenda also will cover two additional sessions: one
devoted to environment and the second focusing on sustainable
corporate growth and development.

Saudi Aramco’s participation in the forum is a reflection of its
leadership among NOCs and its commitment to collaboration on common
issues and concerns in order to enhance energy security and
strengthen the global petroleum sector.

The working groups have engaged in several studies of common
interest, such as the development of a collaborative agreement for
oil-spill prevention and response, black powder, sour-gas field
development, and non-conventional upgrading of whole crudes and
refined products, among others.
