Qatar Bids for Hosting 2018 World Artistic Gymnastics Championship

Doha,March 27 (QNA) - The State of Qatar has officially presented its bid to the Internatinal Gymnastics Federation to host the 2018 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, to qualify for the 2020 Olympic Games. Qatar file, which was handed over to the International Athletics Federation, contained the special requirements and terms for organizing the championship. The host country of the championship will be announced during a meeting to be held in Switzerland next June. President of Qatar Athletecs Federation Ali Al Hitmi said the the Qatari federation began three years ago thinking of hosting the 2018 World Artistic Gymnastics Championship after the great international praise the Qatari Federation has received.(QNA)
