Qatar, China Sign a MoU in Air Transport

Doha, March 27 (QNA) - Qatar and China have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in air transport field. The signing ceremony came following two-days of talks held in the Chinese capital of Beijing. The MoU was signed for the Qatari side by Abdulaziz Mohammed Al Nuaimi, the Chairman of the General Authority for Civil Aviation, while it was signed for the Chinese side by Mr. Chia Hengoa, the Deputy Director of the Department of Civil Aviation. The two parties agreed to amend the agenda routes in the air transport agreement they signed earlier in 1999. The MoU allows the national carriers of both countries to increase the number of their respective weekly flights from 27 to 31 flights and increasing the cargo flights to seven flights a week. (QNA)
