Egyptian Foreign Minister Calls For Peace Process Revival

Doha , March 26 (QNA) - Egyptian Foreign Minister Mohammed Kamel Amro stressed Tuesday the importance of putting the peace process back on track after years of stagnation. Speaking to Qatar News Agency (QNA), Amro said that the Arab countries now face the task of achieving the right of the Palestinian people of an independent state with East Jerusalem its capital. On the Syrian crisis, Amro said that Egypt rejects all the acts of violence taking place in Syria which led to the murder of thousands of Syrians. On his evaluation of the current Arab Summit, Amro considered it to be one of the most important summits in the history of the Arab League due to the developments taking place in the Arab world after the Arab spring. The Egyptian Foreign Minister thanked HH the Emir, government and the people of Qatar for hosting the summit this year and expressed his hope that it would come out with necessary resolutions for the region.
