Abdulbaset Sieda Hails HH the Qatar Emir's Words on Syria

Doha, March 26 (QNA) - Syrian National Coalition member Abdulbaset Sieda, the former chairman of the Syrian National Council, has hailed the address of HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani at the 24th Arab summit opening session especially in relation to the Syrian crisis. The address expressed Qatar's supportive role of the Syrian people, Sieda said Tuesday in statements on the sidelines of the summit in Doha, adding that it also visualized the suffering of Syrians and urged the preservation of their future, which reflects Qatar's clear vision in supporting the different just Arab issues. Sieda said that granting Syria's Arab League seat to the opposition is a step on the path to strip the regime of President Bashar al-Assad of its international legitimacy. Asked whether there is a dispute between chief of the Syrian National Coalition Moaz al-Khatib and head of the interim government, Ghassan Hitto, Sieda said different views are normal and something to be expected, especially in light of the multiple sects and ideologies involved in the Syrian issue.
