Qatar Beat Morocco 2-1 in International Friendly Tournament

Doha, March 25 (QNA) - Hosts Qatar on Monday beat Morocco 2-1 to secure the third spot in the four-team International Friendly Tournament. Morocco, who finished last, opened the scoring through Walid El Karti in the 34th minute at Grand Hamad Stadium. However, a resilient Qatar side hit back with two goals to seal their impressive win. Saleh Badr Yazidi equalised for Qatar in the 58th minute and later in the match, Hilal Mohd Al Sayed fired home the winner with a minute to go in the regulation time.
