MONGOLIA TO COOPERATE WITH DEUTSCHE BAHN AG

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The German delegation led by Dr. Rudiger Grube, the Chairman of the Management Board and CEO, Deutsche Bahn AG, will visit Mongolia March 27-28. Official negotiations will run between Dr. Grube and the Deputy PM D.Terbishdagva, the Minister for Road and Transportation A.Gansukh, and the Minister for Economic Development N.Batbayar. The sides will also share views on expanding of the relations and cooperation in the railway sector, and will sign a memorandum of cooperation between the Ministry of Road and Transportation and Deutsche Bahn AG. After this, the German delegation intends to visit Mongolian Railway JSC. Mongolia has an interest to expand the cooperation in the railway sector with Deutsche Bahn AG, the leader company in the world by railway transportation and logistics. A special interest is placed on investing the railway projects, introducing hi tech, preparing Mongolian railway's staff, learning methods of railway administration management and so on. Deutsche Bahn AG was founded in 1994. Today, it is one of the world's leading passenger and logistics companies, it operates in 150 countries. The company's rail activities in Germany are its core business. Every day, about 237,000 employees, approximately 182,500 of whom are located in Germany, are committed to providing mobility and logistics services for customers, as well as controlling and operating the related transport networks in the rail, land, ocean and air freight transport sectors.
