Qatar, Algeria Hold Talks

Doha, March 24 (QNA) - Qatar and Algeria on Sunday held a session of official talks chaired by Prime Minister and Foreign Minister HE Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor Al Thani and Algeria's Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal . During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the ties between the two countries and ways of enhancing them in all fields, and discussed a number of regional and international issues of common concern. Talks session was attended by a number of Their Excellencies ministers. On the Algerian side, it was attended by ministers, members of the official delegation accompanying the Prime Minister. Then, HE Prime Minister and Foreign Minister and Algerian Prime Minister witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between Qatar Gas Transport Company (Nakilat) and the Algeria's National Company for Exploration and Production of hydrocarbons (Sonatrach) , a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the Gulf Warehousing Company and the Algeria's National Agency for real estate brokerage Control, a partnership agreement between Qatar Petroleum International and Asmedall and Manal Complex for the production of phosphoric acid and fertilizer ammonium phosphate, a partnership agreement between Qatar Petroleum International and Asmedall and Manal Complex for the production of ammonia, ammonium nitrate and calcium ammonium nitrate, and an agreement between Qatar Steel Company and Industrial Park Cedar for the establishment of an industrial complex in Blarh Jijel (Algeria) for the production and marketing of steel products. Later, HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister hosted a dinner banquet in honour of the Algerian Premier and his accompanying delegation.(QNA)
