PRESIDENT ATTENDS NOWRUZ CELEBRATION

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On occasion of the Nowruz celebration for Lunar New Year of Kazakhs, the State Head Ts.Elbegdorj attended the "Nowruz-2013" open day. It took place Thursday on the Sukhbaatar Square in Ulaanbaatar. The President was welcomed at the event by A.Bakei MP, the head of the parliamentary Standing committee on state structure and leader of the Local Council for Bayan-Olgii province in Ulaanbaatar. The leader of Mongolia legged an exhibition of handicraft products made by the Kazakhs, visited other gers that show the traditional lifestyle of the Kazakh people. The President congratulated Mongolian citizens of the Kazakh origin on their Lunar New Year and wished them all the best. Then he held a meeting with the Kazakhs who have come from Bayan-Olgii aimag.
