Saudi authorities set to send airlift of relief aid to quake-hit people in Pakistan

Riyadh, October 31, SPA -- In implementation of instructions of the
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud
to dispatch relief materials to earthquake-hit people in Pakistan,
the Ministry of Finance has secured and made ready 100 ton of tents,
blankets, rugs, foodstuffs and other materials for the needy there.

The relief materials will be airlifted on a number of Saudi Royal
Air Force cargo craft, with the first shipment scheduled to leave for
Quetta airport in Pakistan early tomorrow.

A delegation of a number of governmental agencies will also travel to
Pakistan to hand over the materials.
