Holding Arab Summit in Doha Contributes to Its Success: Omani Ambassador

Doha, March 18 (QNA) - HE Oman's Ambassador to Qatar Mohammad bin Nasser al-Wahaibi underlined that holding the Arab Summit in Doha would definitely contribute to its success. Speaking to Qatar News Agency (QNA), the Omani Ambassador said that the upcoming summit is being held amidst extraordinary and very critical circumstances, noting that holding the summit in Doha would contribute to its success as Qatar enjoys an effective political activity which would ensures activation of the joint Arab work and implementation of the resolutions to be issued by the summit. He noted that the Syrian crisis and the Palestinian will be in the forefront of the topics listed on the agenda. The Ambassador underlined that the integration and cooperation between the GCC countries represents an important model and contributed significantly to the balance in the joint Arab action and to achieve the goals and aspirations sought by everyone in achieving greater cooperation. Concluding, the Omani Ambassador hailed the distinct relations between Qatar and Oman and the continuous cooperation and coordination between the two countries' leaderships represented by HH the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and Sultan Qaboos bin Said of the Sultanate of Oman.
