Minister of Culture Meets Heads of ASEAN Committee

Doha March 17 (QNA) - HE the Minister of Culture Arts and Heritage Dr. Hamad bin Abdulaziz Al Kuwari met this morning with heads the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Committee (Thailand - Vietnam - Philippines - Malaysia - Indonesia - Brunei - Singapore), and to discuss issues related to the Committee. During the meeting, they discussed ways of enhancing cooperation in the cultural field between the State of Qatar and touched on the cultural agreements to be signed with some of these countries. They also discussed the appropriate tables and dates for cultural events which will be held. Dr. Al Kuwari welcomed the submitted ideas that would develop relations between Asian countries and the State of Qatar which pays special attention to relations with the abovementioned countries.
