Arab Investors Union Chief Hails Qatar's Support for Economy of Arab Spring Countries

Doha, March 17 (QNA) - Secretary General of the Arab Investors Union Jamal Eddine Bayoumi hailed Qatar's role in supporting the economy of the Arab Spring countries, and expressed hope that the upcoming Arab Summit in Doha will contribute to the Arab reunion, especially in the economic fields. In remarks to Qatar News Agency (QNA), Bayoumi highlighted Qatar's successful mediation in several Arab initiatives like Darfur and Lebanon, as well as its continued support for the Palestinian cause, and recently its support for the Syrian people in the current crisis. He underlined that Qatar's initiatives, on the economic level, will inspire the rest of the Arab countries to invest in the Arab Spring countries. (QNA)
