Qatar's 'Caravan of Love' to Visit Syrian Refugees at Zaatari Camp

Doha, March 13 (QNA) - A popular Qatari convoy is set to head Thursday to Al-Zaatari camp for Syrian refugees in Jordan in a show of sympathy and solidarity with the Syrian people. Ayedh Al-Qahtani, the general manager of Sheikh Thani bin Abdullah's Foundation for Humanitarian Services (RAF), which organizes the convoy, said the initiative aims to convey a message to the Syrian refugees and the Syrian people that Qatar's financial and moral support will continue in order to alleviate their suffering in these difficult circumstances. Speaking with participants in the Caravan of Love, Al-Qahtani said, besides its solidarity and sympathy goal, the convoy will offer financial support for families in the camp, and will shed the light on the humanitarian aspect of the refugees' lives and their needs so as to garner as much support as possible.
