DP World to receive ACT, Mua'alla Seaport next Saturday

SANA'A, Oct. 30 (Saba) - Dubai Ports World (DP World) is to receive
the Aden Container Terminal (ACT) and the Mua'alla Seaport next
Saturday after counting its contents based on the signed agreement
with the government.

The area of the ACT has been determined by 680 acres, 480 acres in
land and 200 in sea, the Deputy Chairman of Free Zones General
Authority (AFZGA) and Chairman of Aden Free Zone (AFZ) Abdul-Jalil
al-Shuaibi told the state-run of the weekly 26September.

He added that the first meeting of the Board of Directors of the
joint company (of Aden Ports Corporation and DP world) would be
convened mid of next November after the company officially
registered in the ADF.

The coming meeting will approve the launching of the implementation
of the Aden port development plan that aims to raise the port's
capacities to 1.8 million containers in a year.
