ATIB REPRESENTATIVES ATTENDING WORLD ECONOMIC FORUM ON EUROPE AND CENTRAL ASIA

Baku, 30 0ctober ,(AzerTAj)Representatives of Azerbaijan-Turkey Businessmen Association (ATIB) are attending a 3-day meeting of the World Economic Forum on Europe and Central Asia started Thursday in Istanbul, AzerTAc`s Ankara-based correspondent said.

Speakers at the first day of the event included Turkish State Minister Mehmet Simsek
and Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum Klaus Schwab.
They spoke of the impact of the continuing world economic crisis on economy of
European and Asian countries.
Turkey`s cooperation with International Monetary Fund and European Union was also
stressed during the meeting.
Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs Ali Babacan met with his Serbian, Croatian and
Macedonian counterparts on the sidelines of the event.
