QOC Secretary General Meets An Islamic Solidarity Sports Federation Sports Delegation

Doha, February 26 (QNA) The Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) Secretary General HE Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani met here on Tuesday with a delegation representing the Islamic Solidarity Sports Federation (ISSF) under the chairmanship of its Secretary General Faisal Bin Abdulaziz Al-Nassar. The QOC's Secretary General welcomed the delegation wishing them a good stay in Qatar whereas the ISSF delegation's chief highly praised the giant sport progress Qatar has been witnessing in several domains especially in the sports field and which is represented in successfully organising the continental and international events. ISSF's Secretary General Faisal Bin Abdulaziz Al-Nassar also highlighted Qatar's dkeenness on enhancing sports activities at the community level such the State Sports Day in addition to possession by Qatar of the splendid and mammoth sports installations and facilities in the region the matter which enables Qatar to host the grand sport acitivities at the worl level. The two sides also discussed ways of enhancing cooperation between the Qatari Olympic Committee and ISSF and preparations for the triple Islamic tournament Qatar hosts on 29 and 30 March and which will be organized by Qatar Olympic Committee in coordination with the Qatar Shooting and Archery Federation , Qatar Equestrian Federation and Qatar Endurance Committee .(QNA)
