CABINET MEETING IN BRIEF

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The cabinet meeting on Saturday decided that the Day of Telecommunication Workers is to be marked every Friday of the last week of May every year. - Cash prizes be awarded to a pupil and to circus artists who have achieved brilliant successes at international contests. Nine million togrog will be given to P.Indra, a pupil of the Music and Choreography college, for gaining a bronze medal at the Kosian International Violin Contest; nine artists of the "Circus Mongolia Khadgaa" group will receive some 30 million for winning the Bronze Yellow Crane proze at the international circus festival in China. - Obligations were given to N.Batbayar, the Minister of Economic Development, and to Ch.Ulaan, the Minister of Finance, to establish a credit agreement--on implementing the project on erecting the Darkhan-Oil oil refinery--with the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC), and to quickly solve an issue of the governmental credit guarantee. The Minister of Mining D.Gankhuyag was ordered to take measures for holding talks with the Japanese side. B.Khuder
