Global Transportation Experts to Discuss Roads for a New Era of Mobility
Doha, February 24 (QNA) - The 3rd Annual Road Planning, Design and Construction Middle East summit, which gets underway tomorrow here, will once again alert road policy and decision makers about the most important new developments and issues in roads and their environs.
The three-day annual event has attracted hundreds of participants, and is set to provide a discussion opportunity to a mixture of road engineers, managers, consultants, contractors and suppliers with a slate of topics.
The summit speaking program has been structured to cater for a wide range of professional interests. With a particular focus on roads in the Middle East, the day one of the summit will shed light on the new developments in road design, roads for future generations, and all aspects of road safety.
"With roads and road construction playing a pivotal and powerful role in the regional economies, the 3rd Annual Road Planning, Design and Construction Middle East summit, brings together key decision makers whose judgements and expertise form the core of this multi-billion dollar industry," said Ashley Phillips, Conference Director, IQPC.
Further sessions over the next two days provide an opportunity for attendees to hear about and discuss methods for maintaining their roads more effectively and efficiently whilst covering a broad spectrum of topics from mitigating congestion and road financing to sustainable road designs.
