ACTING AZERBAIJANI MINISTER OF CULTURE AND TOURISM APPOINTED TEMPORARY COORDINATOR OF TURKSOY PERMANENT COUNCIL
Baku, 30 0ctober ,(AzerTAj)Azerbaijani delegation of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism attended the 25th meeting of the permanent council of the Joint Administration of Turkic Culture and Art (TURKSOY) held in Kyrgyzhstan, Bishkek, October 25-26.
The meeting participants discussed activity and prospects of the organization,
adopted TURKSOY`s financial report and approved creation in Almaaty the Fund to
support of TURKSOY-Kazakhstan, which is to make contribution in culture and art of
the Turkic speaking nations.
TURKSOY Permanent Council approved program of activity for 2009. Meeting
participants adopted decision to conduct the 26th meeting of TURKSOY Permanent
Council in Baku, Azerbaijan, 2009. Acting Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfaz
Garayev was unanimously appointed a temporary coordinator of the Council.
