CABINET AND UNION FOR ELDERS TO COOPERATE

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The government and the Free Union of Mongolian Seniors (FUMS) will collaborate in refining upon the state policy on elders. Other goals are put as to determine and solve social problems facing the elders and to work proposals on updating the social welfare law. A cooperation contract was inked Thursday by N.Altnakhuyag, the Prime Minister, and by G.Baasan, a head of the FUMS. They also intend to focus on amending the document on state policy for elders, and to create a legal environment for exempting the donations and assistance, given to organizations for elders, from the income tax.
