Netherlands provides $36 mln additional support for health sector in

SANA'A, Oct. 29 (Saba) - In the end of the official talks session
which was held between Yemen and Netherlands, agreements were signed
to provide additional support worth $36 million for mother and child
health program.

The agreements included increasing coverage program to include all
governorates of the Republic after it was limited only in five
governorates, in addition to direct part of the sum to implement
projects through Social Fund for Development.

The talks session dealt with Yemen's efforts in poverty alleviation,
combating terrorism, strengthening decentralization and to avoid
floods disaster.

During the talks they agreed upon future cooperation trends between
the two countries in various fields, increasing Netherlands support
for Yemen, extending cooperation to include investment, trade
cultural cooperation.

Deputy Premier for Economic Affairs, Minister of Planning and
International Affairs Abdul Karim al-Arhabi, Minister of Public
Health and Population Abdul-Karim Rase and Netherlands Development
Cooperation Minister Bert Koenders signed agreements.
