Yemen, Donors discuss water sector support document

SANA'A, Oct. 29 (Saba) - Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation
Mansur al-Hawshabi held Wednesday talks with representatives of the
donor countries and World Bank delegation on document of
donor-funded project of support water sector.

The talks dealt with the technical, legal and administrative
measures reacted to the implementation of the project to be signed
after negotiations between the government and donors.

The meeting affirmed the importance of improving water sector and
rationalizing its consumption to develop the agriculture sector and
promote its role in food security field.

During the meeting, they reviewed the current perpetration to hold a
workshop next Tuesday between the project-related ministerial
committee and donors' representatives to gat acquainted with the
latest outcomes as well as determining date to sign the document.
