Yemen, USA discuss military cooperation

SANA'A, Oct. 29 (Saba)-Deputy Prime Minister for Defense and
Security Affairs discussed on Wednesday with US Assistant Secretary
of State for Middle East Affairs Jeffery Feldman military
cooperation between the two countries.

Cooperation in field of improving material and technical
capabilities of Yemeni Coast Guards for strengthen their role in
protecting the coasts and combating terror, smuggling and
infiltration activities were touched in the meeting.

The meeting dealt also with floods catastrophe hit Yemeni eastern
areas and relief and housing activities being carried out there. The
US official expressed his country's readiness to provide logistic
support to Yemen's relief process in the framework of US Aid Food
Program.
