Afterwards, Princess Aljoharah bint Fahd Al Saud, Director of
Princess Norah bint Abdulrahman University for Girls, delivered a
speech in which she commended the king's constant support for girls'
education, Saudi women's role and the establishment of the
university.

She stated that the university currently includes 13 colleges in
Riyadh and that 26,000 female students are enrolled in these colleges
this year.

Then, the king and the audience watched a documentary on the project
of the university and girls' university education. Afterwards, the
king received a memorial gift on this occasion, viewed a miniature of
the project of the university and was briefed on the project.

Then, the king laid the foundation stone of the project of the
University of Princess Norah bint Abdulrahman and later, left the
venue of the ceremony.

The ceremony was attended by Prince Fahd bin Mohammad bin Abdulaziz,
Prince Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of Defense and
Aviation and Inspector General, and a number of other princes,
ministers and senior officials.
