WALHI DISSAPOINTED TO SANITARY AGENCY
Jakarta, Oct 29 (ANTARA) -- WALHI (Indonesian Forum for Evironment) along with public garbage management agency were disappointed with the Jakarta Sanitary Agency in a workshop held here Wednesday.
The disappointment arose when Eko Baruno from the Jakarta sanitary agency had to leave the workshop after he made his remarks on that occasion.
Every participant, mostly housewives who voluntarily manage their own garbage expressed the disappointment by booing at Eko Baruno when he left the speaker's platform.
"I'm truly sorry, but I really have to leave and my associate would replace me for your convenience," Eko said while leaving the hall.
Lisnawaty and other participants were disappointed because they think Eko Baruno's presence was as a regulator who would receive the forum's work plan which has been discussed earlier.
Explanation on garbage management, purchasing recycled good products, providing tools for every community, and many more work plans were supposed to be offered to the regulator from the workshop participants.
