Al Meera Reports QR 105,755,855 Net Profit in 2012

Doha, February 09 (QNA) - Al Meera Consumer Goods Company has reported a net profit of QR 105,755,855 for the year ended December 31, 2012, a 36.8% higher than the previous year. A statement released by Al Meera on Saturday said that the company's board of directors recommended distributing a cash dividend of QR 8 per share, which is equivalent to 80% of the nominal share value. Notably, the company's revenue reached QR1.504 billion, which is 29.2% higher than 2011. The board, held a meeting today chaired by HE Abdulla bin Khalid Al Qahtani, took a number of decisions, and referred them to the General Assembly meeting to be held on 27 February 2013. (QNA)
