LEGENDARY MUSLIM MAGOMAYEV BURIED AT FIRST ALLEY OF HONORS
Baku, 29 0ctober ,(AzerTAj)Legendary singer Muslim Magomayev was buried at the first Alley of Honors, on October 29, next to his grandfather, outstanding Azerbaijani composer Muslim Magomayev.
Attending the funeral ceremony were Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev and his spouse
Mehriban Aliyeva, the deceased’s widow Tamara Sinyavskaya and his family members, as
well as state and government officials, foreign guests and representatives of the
general public.
Prayers from the Holy Quran were said for outstanding Muslim Magomayev during the
funeral.
The grave of the legendary singer was covered in wreaths from President of
Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev and Head of the Russian
Government Vladimir Putin, as well as the Friends of Azerbaijan Foundation, state
bodies, creative organizations and separate persons.
Thousands of Muslim`s lovers came to the Alley to pay last tribute to the great singer.
