TURKISH DELEGATION COMMEMORATES MARTYRS OF 1918 BATTLE
Baku, 29 0ctober ,(AzerTAj)- Employees of the Turkish Embassy in Baku, as well as representatives of Turkish Industrialist and Businessmen Association (TUSIAD) and Azerbaijan Turkey Businessmen Association (ATIB) visited Wednesday the Alley of Martyrs in Baku on the occasion of 85th anniversary of the Republic of Turkey.
They laid flowers and a wreath at the memorial plaque commemorating Turkish soldiers
who died in the 1918 battle against Armenians in Azerbaijan.
They observed a minute of silence.
Turkey`s Ambassador to Azerbaijan Hulusi Kilic signed the Guest Book.
Then, the Turkish delegation laid flowers at the graves of Azerbaijan`s brave sons
who died for the independence and territorial integrity of the country and put a
wreath at the Eternal Fire monument.
