HE Qatar Culture Minister Hamad Al Kuwari Meets HE Spanish Ambassador to Qatar

Doha, February 04 (QNA) - HE Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage, Dr. Hamad Bin Abdulaziz Al Kuwari,met here on Tuesday with Spanish ambassador to qatar HE Ms. Carmen de la Pena to discuss bilateral cultural relations and means of bolstering them . They also discussed mechanisms of cooperation between the ministry of culture and the arab house in madrid in the presence of Edward L?pez Boscist, the Director-General of the Arab House in Spain. HE Dr. Hamad Bin Abdulaziz Al Kuwari later met with a delegation representing the arab-german friendship society and discussed means of widening scopes of cooperation between the two countries. The Arab House was founded in Spain in July 2006 by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the municipalities of Madrid and Cordoba, to be a reference for everything related to the Arab world in Spain and push strengthening Spain's relations with the Arab and Muslim world in the cultural, social, scientific and economic areas.(QNA)
