JEWISH COMMUNITY WELCOMES ILHAM ALIYEV
Baku, 29 0ctober ,(AzerTAj)The Jewish community of Azerbaijan congratulates President Aliyev, welcoming him back to office in the confidence that he has always honored positive relations with the Jewish community and expressed interest in its continued development.
“He has shown Azerbaijan that he is able to provide independent policy, protection
of national interests, and guarantee the country’s different ethnic groups and
religious faiths that this is a country of national and religious tolerance, where
we may live in an atmosphere of peace and friendship,” commented Evda Abramov,
Jewish deputy of Azerbaijan Parliament.
The Jewish community of Azerbaijan is part of the Federation of Jewish Communities
of the CIS and Baltic Countries.
