AZERBAIJAN BIDS FAREWELL TO MUSLIM MAGOMAYEV
Baku, 29 0ctober ,(AzerTAj)A farewell ceremony of the prominent singer and music composer Muslim Magomayev began at 11 a.m. on October 29 at the Azerbaijan State Philharmonic Hall bearing the name of the deceased’s grandfather.
A coffin of Muslim Magomayev is placed on the carpet covered stage of the
philharmonic hall on a pedestal decorated with white roses. Burning candles surround
the carpet.
Wreaths on behalf of the Presidents of Azerbaijan and Russia are on the stage.
Songs by Muslim Magomayev are heard in the hall.
An endless stream of mourners who will always keep the memory of Muslim Magomayev in
their hearts has been coming to pay their last respect to the great singer.
At these moments a funeral dinner is being given in the Park INN hotel.
