CESSNA PLANE MAKES EMERGENCY LANDING ON CIKAMPEK TOLL ROAD
Jakarta, Oct 29 (ANTARA) - A Cessna PK-SDQ light plane with three people on board made an emergency landing on the Cikampek toll road at 8:15 on Wednesday morning but nobody was hurt.
The Jakarta Metropolitan Police's Traffic Management Center (TMC) said two of the three people on the plane were instructors and the other one was a co-pilot trainee.
The three were identified as Edo Barokah (19), Nur Huda (31) from Legok, Tangerang, and Ratu Farha (47) from Surabaya, East Java.
According to the TMC the Cessna plane had taken off from Halim Perdanakusuma airport in East Jakarta and was heading to Cirebon in West Java when it was forced to make an emergency landing on the Cikampek toll road between Karawang and Purwakarta districts.
Meanwhile, traffic police officer Commissioner Edu Ismail said at the scene that at first the wing of the plane was blocking traffic on the road but the problem was overcome by pushing the aircraft to the roadside.
