Qatar Equestrian Club to Host HH Heir Apparent Trophy Tuesday

Doha, February 02 (QNA) - Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club will host Tuesday a three-day HH the Heir Apparent First Trophy Race for Purebred Arabian Horses. The event will consist of three races for Arabian horses. The total prize money for the three-day event is QR 2.5 million. The winner of the HH the Heir Apparent Sword will be presented with a golden sword and QR 800,000. HE Chairman of the Racing and Equestrian Club Sheikh Mohammed bin Faleh Al Thani said that the club is working relentlessly to host a brilliant event over the course of the three days. HE Sheikh Mohammed said that the trophy is one of the most influential in Qatar, adding that due attention was paid to the preparation and marketing the event. HE Sheikh Mohammed also expressed his thanks for Al Emadi Corporation for their support of the HH the Heir Apparent First Trophy Race. He described the relationship between Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club as long-standing and said that Al Emadi's support helps in elevating the status of horse racing in the country. (QNA)
