Majlis approves Iran's membership in D-8
Tehran, Oct 28, IRNA Majlis approved on Tuesday the membership of the Islamic Republic of
Iran in the group of eight developing countries known as D-8.
Majlis representatives voted for Iran's membership in the grouping of
eight developing countries D-8 in a session on Tuesday.
The MPs also voted for Iran's membership of Indian Ocean Rim -
Association for Regional Cooperation.
The MPs approved a bill calling on Iran to join Asian Center for
Alleviation of Natural Disaster.
